Do you need expert professional clinical supervision for drug and alcohol addiction over the internet?
Are you confused about how to handle difficult cases in the area of drug and alcohol addiction?
Do you need to access specialist supervision that gives you a better sense of confidence as a therapist?
Is it time to get help from seasoned professional supervisor in the area of drug and alcohol addiction who practices as a successful therapist?
I am a (Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists & Australian Hypnotherapists Association) recognised counselling, psychotherapy and clinical hypnotherapy supervisor. I’m also a mental health professional who is a member of the Psychotherapy And Counselling Federation Of Australia: College of Psychotherapy.
Supervision with me can also be recognised in many parts of the world when applying to your professional association (excluding USA).
I trained as a classical and Ericksonian hypnotherapist in the United Kingdom and United States. I hold a degree (American Institute of Hypnotherapy) (School no. 3004761), post-graduate advanced diploma in hypnosis and psychotherapy (National School of Hypnosis and Advanced Psychotherapy in London, UK (UKCP-recognised school), doctorate in hypnotherapy (American Institute of Hypnotherapy), and studied medical sciences and psychology (Open University (UK), Derby University (UK) Charles Sturt University (AUS).
I also hold an advanced diploma in naturopathy, advanced diploma in nutritional medicine, advanced diploma in medical herbalism (Australian Institute of Applied Sciences (AUS) and a Bachelor’s degree in complementary medicine (Charles Sturt University).
Before moving to Australia, I practised at the London Medical Centre in Harley Street and since 2001 I have run the Australian Health and Education Centre in Sydney. I also teach therapists in the area of drug and alcohol addiction and have regularly spoken and presented at academic and therapy conferences all over the world.
I love supervision. All the supervisors I consulted in my career catapulted my professionalism forward at an accelerated pace. It allowed me to be one the most successful people in my field. Yes, I’m a therapy and research geek, I admit it. I suppose anyone who has produced hundreds of articles, courses and books must be a bit obsessed about what they do. And I also think therapy and supervision should be a good experience and at times fun because we learn best when we are having good time.
Who is the one-on-one supervision for?
You must be a qualified or a student therapist and member of a recognised professional association in your country to apply for private, one-on-one clinical supervision with me. At this time the USA and Canada is excluded.
Trainees are welcome, as are clinical hypnotherapists, counsellors, psychotherapists, psychiatrists, psychologists, mental health nurses, social workers, and health professionals practising medical hypnosis in the field of drug and alcohol addiction.
What happens in the supervision session?
You can discuss your cases, where you might need to go next with you studies and career, how to handle those difficult cases, what you need to do to avoid burnout and whatever else you need to help you as therapist. You bring the agenda we find the solutions together and of course you get your proof of supervision document.
